s u Me the 'e publisher: In this harsh winter 1152, the Guard is facing shortages that threaten the existence of the mouse. Saxon, Kenzie and Lieam, three guards among the best, go through the territories covered by snow. Led by the old Celanawe, they act as diplomats and try to improve relations between the different cities and the Guard. But that winter could well be fatal to some guards.

"The hero falls, the bleeding hero, the hero bends
He dries her tears and leaves the bitter battle
often to defend themselves in mourning almost daily
A hero must learn his bravery alone establish
Only after his death that his singing exploits
Work, duty, selfless, never stumble
Yet there is always one to believe that the name will suffice
And perish from or be her only choice "

Gwendolyn, the matriarch of Lockhaven sends five teams of guards in the different cities of the Territory for an urgent mission: to bring food and medicine. The goal: to reconnect and engage in diplomacy between Lockhaven and more distant cities. Conflicts still reign, led by spies and traitors ... Worthy of a Tolkien Legends of the 1152 Winter Guard is Comics heroic fantasy that we would have liked to read was younger. For children, the series is just as remarkable for adults with a graphic elegant and stunning. I was already conquered by the first game Legends Guard Fall 1152 , but there is prodigious talent . A work of great artist. There is absolutely nothing wrong about the atmosphere of the album. Winter Guard faces and figures are consistent with heroic strength for a season. If roads are flooded with icy tones (dark blue, purple, dull, white, gray ...) there is always a miraculous heat output of a lamp or a makeshift fire in the heart danger. The first volume showed many scenes of battles, action and epic battles, the atmosphere here is less festive, more contemplative. The enemy does not fight, it is more devious and cunning ... Legends of the 1152 Winter Guard transcribed particularly the world of Lord of the Rings through stunning scenery and sublime as the underground kingdom Darkheather, sort of Moria, underground cemetery of dead mice in combat. Attention to detail and accuracy, narrative suspense, impeccable mastery of the medieval world with its illuminations, its legends, maps and prints are the ingredients ... a series that is worth its weight in gold! Bravery, valor, courage, solidarity, friendship and love are the values of the Guard and a saga of heroic fantasy to discover them. (I remind you received two Eisner Awards in 2008 (Award for Best Publication Award for Best Youth and graphics).
