If at first I tilted about celebrity, I am persuaded by my curiosity. So yes I confess all, I was gone, saying that Hilary Duff novelist young adults, it did not fly very high. And finally ... it's not bad. Hilary Duff is credible literature in young adults even though it plays on the strings that work well.
Clea is a 17 year old girl. Her mother is a politician accomplished while his father is an excellent doctor. Clea's father disappeared during a humanitarian mission to Brazil. Clea will use its status as a photojournalist for the investigation. As a child she takes pictures and has a passion for the image because the camera captures what is unseen, what is hidden. Thus she discovered the presence of a man on all his photos for years intervals. However camouflaged, always away, it remains recognizable. Clea is not known but he seems to know. How is this possible? At the scene of his investigation in Rio, between carnival and chase, will Clea discover the secret of his father and especially the reasons for his disappearance. An elixir dangerous, mysterious and magical ...

ago the idea. The plot is good. Cheers, progressive, fairly panting with passages promising especially when Clea discovers the man in the photos. The game between reality and dreams is also very well done: women as Clea sees in her dreams all live in different times but are one and the same person ... reincarnated. The share of fantasy is involved: previous lives, immortal elixir. What embarrassed me the most is probably the lack of consistency characters. It seems that all cooked in their graves by hand. Luxury, parades, love triangle, there are only snap my fingers and everything falls. Inevitably the next bling bling, money you want in here! lack of credibility. The psychology of the characters is barely developed. In short it is in its infancy and it waits patiently for what will result. Clea is hardly endearing, more concerned about her two suitors by the death of his father. That said the novel as a whole is satisfactory despite a divided opinion. The end is neat, both brutal but alluring enough to be interested in more ... Hilary Duff, singer and actress, no doubt ... Hilary Duff author will, for my part yet to prove itself in the second volume.
